ADB and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore established the Asia Training and Research Initiative for Urban Management (ATRIUM) to promote cooperation and knowledge sharing in urban infrastructure and water management. |

ADB and IE Singapore will undertake the following key programs for ATRIUM.

Knowledge Sharing Programs The partners will develop and cofinance specific programs targeted at urban sector policy makers from developing countries. These programs will leverage off Singapore's considerable development experience in urban management. |

Pilot Demonstration Projects Under the ATRIUM, ADB and IE Singapore will develop and cofinance specific pilot projects in urban management for selected developing countries. For example, Singapore's model in urban renewal could be replicated in selected cities for pilot study. |

Evaluation of Jointly Developed Programs The partners will gather feedback from participants of knowledge sharing programs and prepare evaluation reports aimed at seeking continuous improvements to the programs. |
