Options in the Irrigation Sector

WCD Thematic Review IV.2 Assessment of Irrigation Options provides an overview of available technologies and other management and institutional interventions An extensive range of research results and information about ongoing programs designed to improve agricultural water management are available on the website of the International Water Management Institute, including the theme on integrated water management for agriculture. Other research themes on smallholder livelihoods, groundwater, and institutions and policy can be accessed through their website . View information on the projects of FAOs Land and Water Development Division. A number of relevant publications can be ordered from the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage.
