The hydropower industry's approach to the environment and sustainability

Both the International Energy Agency (IEA) - an inter-governmental agency - and the International Hydropower Association (IHA) - an industry professional organization -have recently issued guidance dealing with environmental and sustainability issues of hydropower development.
