Disclosure

'Increased disclosure of information can assist in ensuring effective local participation in decision making, leading to "ownership" of decisions by involved participants, and improving project implementation and sustainability'. (para 23(ii))

'..while recognizing important legal and practical constraints, the Bank's policy should be to provide the greatest possible degree of transparency and disclosure in all areas of Bank operations..' (para 26)
