Environment

As indicated in the environmental guidelines, those mitigation measures that fall under the responsibility of the contractor should be explicitly included in the tender and contract documents and, where possible, incorporated into conditions governing release of staged payments at key milestones in the contract. Environmental and social specialists / consultants should be requested to review the adequacy of the bid and contract documents in this respect.

Indigenous Peoples

  • 'Development processes [that affect indigenous peoples] must incorporate transparency and accountability.' (para 32)

Involuntary Resettlement

Water
