ADB's information base on dams

The nature and sensitivity of issues surrounding dam projects has over the years generated a high level of public scrutiny and interest - both inside and outside the country where the project is situated.

Information available to ADB's management, project staff and external relations advisers on past, current and planned projects needs to be relevant, accurate, up-to-date and readily accessible.

Existing information systems can be supplemented with relatively little additional effort to significantly improve the level of information available to ADB management, staff, its borrowers and the public. Beyond keeping this e-paper current with changes in policy and new examples and experiences, the proposed knowledge-sharing initiatives for ADB are outlined here:
