Myoungsun Lee
Myoungsun Lee joined the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) as a Senior Capacity Building and Training (CBT) Specialist in October 2022.
His CBT interests include post-COVID-19 recovery and sustainable economic development in Asia and the Pacific.
Prior to joining ADBI, he served as a director and a deputy director in the Republic of Korea (ROK) Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) for about 25 years. His focuses in MOEF included budgeting, fiscal policy, and economic policy. He also previously worked for the ROK President’s Office (Cheongwadae), the ROK Embassy in Thailand, and the 2015 Universiade organization committee.
He holds a degree in business administration and public administration from Seoul National University and studied abroad at the University of Washington, United States.
