Widya Alwarritzi

Widya Alwarritzi joined ADBI as a Research Associate for Capacity Building and Training and Special Activities in April 2019.

Her research interests include regional development, food security, impact evaluation, and poverty reduction.

She was previously a Research Fellow for the JICA-JST SATREPS Project on Development and Adoption of Latin American Low-Input Rice Production System Through Genetic Improvement and Advanced Field-Management Technologies at Kyushu University, Japan.

She also worked for several years at the Parliament House of the Indonesia Government in Jakarta and Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta.

She holds a PhD and MA in agriculture economics from Kyushu University and a BA from Gadjah Mada University.
