  • Under the ADBI-ADB Asian Climate Finance Dialogue, launched in November 2023, this session will feature representatives from central banks, financial regulators, and climate finance specialists, who will discuss the main sources of climate-related risks in the region and share the most successful approaches adopted by monetary authorities and regulators among ADB’s member countries. It will also raise awareness on the key role of financial supervisors and regulators, and the need to improve climate disclosure and related financial policies to promote climate finance.

The CACCC-2024 is poised to be a significant milestone in the ongoing regional climate discourse and bring together stakeholders and practitioners from various sectors. The CACCC-2024 will focus on reviewing and enhancing practical climate initiatives being implemented across Central Asia, aiming to bolster support for governmental and development partners, academic society and private sector efforts, and the broader populace in making climate ambitions a reality.

  • ADBI organizes the Deep Dive Workshop (DDW) session as part of the Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF). ACEF is an important event focusing on energy and the environment, with emphasis on the intersection of gender and energy. It brings together over 1,000 energy experts, including government representatives from developing member countries. The DDW session serves as a platform for in-depth discussions and knowledge sharing on key topics related to clean energy and gender. It explores issues such as women's access to clean energy, their participation in renewable energy entrepreneurship, and the disparities in energy consumption patterns.
