New E-Learning Course Spotlights Post-COVID-19 Sustainable Infrastructure Development Keys

Tokyo, Japan – A new tuition-free, certificate-issuing ADBI E-learning course explores the changing infrastructure landscape amid the COVID-19 pandemic and priorities for advancing project development critical to sustainable and inclusive economic recovery.

Led by ADBI’s Dina Azhgaliyeva and Nella Hendriyetty, and Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association President Rym Ayadi, Sustainable and Quality Infrastructure Beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic describes economies’ shifting infrastructure needs and how to address increasingly difficult public funding conditions.

Based on policy guidance produced by the Group of 20’s (G20) official think tank engagement group, the Think20 (T20), the course discusses innovative approaches for boosting infrastructure investment and growth. It focuses on green bonds and public-private partnerships, and concludes with a look at the G20’s role in fostering infrastructure and policy next steps.

The course offers learners timely insights on strengthening infrastructure development and its potential to revive economic growth in the face of increasing, COVID-19-driven funding challenges.
