Call for Papers on Financial Consumers Conference

IAFICO is a global communication platform for scholars, regulators, and practitioners to present their latest research and share their thoughts about financial consumer protection as well as international development cooperation in finance. All theoretical, empirical, and practical papers from scholars and practitioners are welcome.

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Consumer behavior or protection in finance (law, public policy, economics, management)
  • Business ethics (CSR) or best practices of financial institutions
  • International comparison of protection for financial consumers
  • International development cooperation in financial education or financial design

Submissions

Please submit a short email application with your paper proposal (with title and abstract) to [email protected] by 31 March 2019.

Travel

Sponsored by the Asian Development Bank Institute, IAFICO will provide special travel support (economy class air fare and hotel accommodation) to scholars or government officers in ADBI member countries whose papers are selected for the conference. The official decision on support will be notified within one month after the submission deadline.

Journal Arrangements

Those receiving support may submit their presentation paper proposal to the International Review of Financial Consumers, IAFICO's official journal.
