1. INTERNSHIP TOPIC:
"Research and analysis of knowledge management systems using Microsoft Dynamics 365 to enhance OAI’s knowledge and communication function, particularly OAI’s customized platform (Quantum)."

2. SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop, support, and facilitate knowledge and information management in OAI, specifically:
- Research and identify systems, tools, and technology that can enhance the knowledge and communication features of OAI’s customized platform (Quantum);
- Analyze OAI’s Knowledge Management Action Plan and identify areas for enhancement; and
- Review and update existing process of collecting, storing, and disseminating knowledge products from workshops, seminars, or trainings organized by OAI as well as other relevant sources.

3. PERIOD OF ASSIGNMENT:
• Duration: 8 weeks (with a possibility of extension)
• Timing: June 2022

4. LOCATION: ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines (or virtually, based on COVID-19 policies/restrictions)

5. EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
- Report on analysis and recommendations for enhancing the knowledge and communication features of OAI’s customized platform (Quantum)
- Report on analysis and recommendations for enhancing OAI’s Knowledge Management Action Plan
- Workflow on updated and systematic collection, storage, and dissemination of OAI’s knowledge products.

Qualifications

6. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Social Science, Development, Management, Public Administration, Information Management, Communications, Media Studies or other related disciplines.

7. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Exposure to knowledge management and capacity development;
- Skills in capturing, analyzing, managing, retrieving and disseminating information effectively using appropriate information systems;
- Knowledge and understanding of information and communications technology, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Excellent computer skills, including developing flow charts and presentation materials; and
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
