Mr. Davila is Operations Coordination Specialist (Conflict Affected Situations), Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) team, as part of the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department at Asian Development Bank. He joined ADB in 2008 as a Urban Development Specialist and worked on urban infrastructure projects in almost all of the countries across the Central and West Asia region. Mr. Davila also served as the Country Specialist in Afghanistan from 2017-2019, most notably developing FCAS approaches for projects in Afghanistan, leading development partner coordination and managing the Afghanistan Infrastructure Trust Fund. Furthermore, he worked on preparing and implementing context sensitive projects in Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan, with focus on humanitarian-peace-development nexus in Tajikistan. He has over 15 years of professional experience in international development and strategic partnerships, and has worked in over twenty countries, including working long term in the field in Kyrgyz Republic, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
