Asia Environmental Partners II is a $300 million regional fund focused on growth opportunities in renewable energy, waste management and recycling services, water management, energy efficiency, pollution control, and low-carbon consumer products in the People’s Republic of China, India, and Southeast Asia.
The current level of commercial bank lending to agriculture in India remains inadequate and limited access to finance for the rural population constrains their ability to undertake critical investments to improve yields and income. ADB assistance will help improve access to finance for small farmers and low-income women and their families in rural India.
