Assessment of Higher Education: Kyrgyz Republic

Institutional Document | November 2015

While confronting multiple challenges, the higher education system in the Kyrgyz Republic has shown resilience and expanded to enroll more than 50% of the relevant age cohort.

Several dedicated professionals, including key members of Parliament, are leading reform efforts in higher education governance, autonomy, and quality assurance. To compete at the international level, improvements in faculty must be brought to the center of all higher education development efforts.
