The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has prepared a sector assessment, strategy, and road map for the water supply and sanitation sector in Cambodia. Aside from a current assessment, the document outlines the strategic investment priorities of ADB and the Government of Cambodia in said sector. It highlights overall sector performance, development constraints, government plans and strategy, past ADB support and experience, other development partners’ support, and the strategy for future ADB support.

This working document, prepared as an input to ADB’s Cambodia Country Partnership Strategy 2011–2013, will be updated as the strategic program and developments of ADB and the government in the sector are refined and/or changed. It is intended to provide sector background information for ADB’s investment and technical assistance operations.
