Financing the Sustainable Development Goals: The Contributions of the Multilateral Development Banks

This report showcases the contributions of 11 multilateral development banks (MDBs) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help member countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The MDBs and the IMF have been committed partners in supporting countries’ efforts to achieve the SDGs by providing finance, technical assistance, and knowledge. The report highlights how their financing directly contributes to advancing SDGs that empower people, protect the planet, foster prosperity for all, and develop sustainable, high-quality infrastructure. It proposes shared priorities to help countries emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic stronger.
