India: Multisector Project for Infrastructure Rehabilitation in Jammu and Kashmir
The project’s expected impact is to bring the state’s economy back to a normal course of economic growth. The project had four expected outcomes. The first is improved living conditions for the urban population in the state. The second is improved rural connectivity. The third is strengthened institutional capacity of the Economic Reconstruction Agency and project implementation units. The last is the incorporation of ADB Water Policy in ADB assistance.
This report validates the completion report’s assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Less than successful.
