In 2023, ADB channeled $16.4 billion in cofinancing for its developing member countries, alongside ADB’s commitments of $23.6 billion. The Partnership Report 2023 highlights the work of ADB and its partners in cofinancing development in Asia and the Pacific in the past year.

The Partnership Report 2023: Climate Action, Sustainable Development is a digital publication that highlights the work of ADB and its partners in cofinancing development in Asia and the Pacific in the past year.

Despite decades of progress, the region faces tremendous development challenges. Poverty, hunger, debts, conflicts, disasters, and inequalities remain major obstacles. Looming over them is the defining challenge of our time: climate change.

As the region’s climate bank, ADB helps countries navigate these challenges and plot sustainable paths for their development.

ADB’s annual Partnership Report features the work and achievements of ADB’s financing partnerships with bilateral and multilateral institutions, the private sector, and other development partners each year. Produced by the Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships Department of ADB, the report illustrates how financing partnerships are delivering concrete impacts on the ground, how they are aligned with ADB operational priorities, and how partnerships amplify ADB’s operations.
