    Indonesia: Eastern Indonesia Sustainable Energy Access Sector Project

    The dual objectives of Asian Development Bank’s (ADB’s) project preparation technical assistance (PPTA) were to (a) prepare all documents for a sector loan for the Sustainable Energy Access in Eastern Indonesia–Power Generation Sector Project (PGSP) and core subprojects to be considered for ADB financing; and (b) support Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in securing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply contract. This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA. IED overall assessment is less than successful.

    The expected outcome of Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) knowledge and support technical assistance (KSTA) was improved integration of poverty alleviation and environmental protection policies in Jiangxi Province in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Its expected impact was improved support system for poverty alleviation in the PRC (consistent with the objectives of the 13th Five-year Plan for National Economic and Social Development).
