Institutional Document | November 2010

The regional cooperation strategy and program (RCSP) for South Asia and the annual regional cooperation operations business plan (RCOBP) aim to help the region realize its full economic and social development potential.

The regional cooperation strategy and program (RCSP) for South Asia and the annual regional cooperation operations business plan (RCOBP) aim also to facilitate South Asia's participation in wider Asian integration. While the overall goals and objectives of the RCSP remain relevant, a new regional cooperation strategy (RCS) is being developed for 2011-2015 to formulate longer-term directions for Asian Development Bank (ADB) support for regional cooperation and integration in South Asia. The RCS, which is expected to be completed near the end of 2010, is likely to be presented to the ADB Board for consideration in early 2011.
