This document provides a summary of the analytical study on labor and working conditions (LWC).

Overall, the study finds that a clear risk assessment framework with corresponding measures to address assessed risks would benefit from a LWC perspective. For example, while treatment of the health and safety component of the LWC is squarely in the SPS, there is a need for clearer requirements and guidance on risk assessment. More training of staff and borrowers to conduct those assessment is also needed.
