Summary of Midterm Review: Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations and Small Island Developing States Approach

ADB has undertaken the Midterm Review to assess how the initial years of FSA implementation have guided its operational engagement with FCAS-classified DMCs and SIDS, under the overall strategic framework provided by Strategy 2030. The Midterm Review highlights achievements and strengths of the FSA as well as gaps against an evolving global and regional vulnerability and fragility landscape and shifts in ADB corporate priorities and organizational structure under its new operating model (NOM) rolled out in 2023.
