Tajikistan: Country Partnership Strategy (2021–2025)

Institutional Document | August 2021

This Country Partnership Strategy defines ADB's strategic approach in Tajikistan for 2021–2025.

The country partnership strategy (CPS), 2021–2025 of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Tajikistan will address the country’s quality of growth through support for changing the growth driver from public investment to efficiency and productivity gains and through investment in reducing remaining poverty.

The CPS has three focus areas: (i) supporting structural reforms to enhance the efficiency of resource allocation and mobilization in transition to a market economy, (ii) improving labor productivity through human capital development, and (iii) fostering better livelihoods through investment in a land-linked economy.
