ONGOING EVALUATION. The Independent Evaluation Department (IED) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will validate the findings and assessments of the final review of the Uzbekistan Country Partnership Strategy (CPS), 2019–2023. The validation will inform ADB’s future operations and its forthcoming CPS for 2024–2028 for Uzbekistan.
The Country Partnership Strategy Final Review (CPSFR) assessed the Uzbekistan CPS, 2019–2023 overall successful. It found the country program to be relevant, effective, efficient and likely sustainable, and had satisfactory development impacts.
The validation will gather evidence from consultations with government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders during an independent virtual validation mission, as well as through desk review of the CPSFR, project documents, and other relevant literature. The validation will be prepared in accordance with the 2015 Guidelines for the Preparation of Country Assistance Program Evaluation and Country Partnership Strategy Final Review Validations.
