This penultimate report provides an overview of the Facility’s progress toward its 2020 targets. The report also includes ADB Water's coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response and project impact stories.
Ahead of the Facility’s completion, the WFPF has already achieved and surpassed its main target of contributing at least 115 million beneficiaries to the overall goal of the Water Financing Program to support 765 million people. As of June 2020, the number of project beneficiaries from WFPF-supported projects stands at 117.55 million. This Semiannual Progress Report also details the measures undertaken by the ADB Water Sector Group, with the WFPF, to support the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response.
