The Work Program and Budget Framework (WPBF), 2022-2024 describes the indicative projection of ADB’s operations, strategic priorities, institutional reforms, and indicative staff resources and budget requirements.

Under Strategy 2030, which sets the direction for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to respond effectively to the changing needs of Asia and the Pacific, ADB will sustain its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty and to achieve a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific.

This WPBF describes: (i) ADB’s continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic; (ii) ADB’s support for a green, resilient, and inclusive recovery; (iii) the alignment of ADB operations with Strategy 2030, the corporate results framework (CRF), and Asian Development Fund (ADF) 13 strategic directions; (iv) initiatives being carried out to strengthen organizational performance; (v) staff resource requirements with an emphasis on sustainable workloads and staff welfare; and (vi) the budget framework.
