In 2020, ADB and its financing partners faced the COVID-19 pandemic while simultaneously ensuring that the progress made in the past decades does not slide. From providing initial emergency assistance to supporting initiatives that work toward climate change, we helped our client countries start taking the path toward green, inclusive, and resilient recovery. These are some of our partnership stories during the year.
ADB, with the OPEC Fund for International Development, the Government of Australia, and the Nordic Development Fund, worked on strengthening agricultural value chains that would help Cambodia achieve food security.
ADB and its partners are supporting the application of smart technologies in air-conditioning systems to help fight COVID-19 and climate change.
ADB and its financing partners supported Cambodia in improving the management of its water resources and becoming better prepared to face climate change and respond to natural disasters.
ADB, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and the Government of Finland are helping improve the lives of poor farmers in Cambodia’s Tonle Sap Basin.
