News from Nepal: A Quarterly Newsletter of the Nepal Resident Mission of the Asian Development Bank (January 2016) (Nepali Translation)
Nepal Resident Mission commemorated 25 years of on-the-ground partnership with Nepal at the beginning of 2015. As of the end of 2015, ADB had 35 projects and programs operating in 2015 with a cumulative funding of $1.7 billion.
This issue features a summary of ADB operations in Nepal in 2015 including ADB support for Nepal earthquake response and 2015 project portfolio highlights, additional financing for Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Improvement Project and establishment of Capacity Development Resource Center, new Country Operations Business Plan (2016-2018), Strengthening Governance through Information Technology, voices of ADB-assisted project beneficiaries, new ADB Nepal staff, a publication review and ADB Nepal Resident Mission events.
