Description

In 2020, ADB and its financing partners provided agile, bold, innovative, and swift responses to the health and humanitarian challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ADB’s convening power galvanized development partners to consolidate their resources around ADB's flexible financing products and platforms. Responding to the glaring needs of the region, ADB's partners—13 governments, 15 multilateral institutions, and numerous private sector partners—contributed a record $16.4 billion in cofinancing for sovereign and nonsovereign operations. Two-thirds of these went to COVID-19 interventions.

ADB’s Partnership Report 2020: Responsive Partners, Resilient Communities highlights the work of ADB and its partners in cofinancing development work in 2020, especially their multipronged responses to the COVID-19 pandemic across the Asia and Pacific region. It also includes a special feature on the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction in commemoration of its 20th Anniversary.

The ADB Partnership Report 2020 will be launched via Facebook event and YouTube Premiere.
