Delivering a safe, effective vaccine will be a turning point in the fight against COVID-19. Drawing on his ongoing research, Nobel Laureate Michael Kremer will explore how to create appropriate incentives to accelerate vaccine access. Led by Vice President Deborah Stokes, a high-level panel of experts from the ADB’s knowledge and operations departments will discuss how ADB can help ensure Asia is not left behind.
Webinar attendees will engage with the distinguished speaker to:
- Hear the latest thinking in economics on how best to develop and deliver vaccines quickly and safely.
- Understand what market failures stand in the way and how public policy can address them.
- Discuss how multilateral development banks and bilateral partners can facilitate vaccine access in poorer economies.
