ADB's Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD) has designed this program aimed at building capacity of ADB-funded project executing and implementing agencies in ADB's internal processes and is structured around ADB’s project cycle. The 3-day interactive discussion encompasses the project cycle of an ADB-financed project and covers the following themes:
- Designing Good Projects
- ADB Due Diligence
- Managing Project Implementation
- ADB’s Procurement
- Project Performance Management System
- Integrity, Accountability and Compliance
- New Procurement Framework and Procurement of High-Level Technology
- Project Evaluation
- Towards 2030
The resource persons are senior ADB staff including directors and sector experts. Panel discussions and question and answers will help participants gain a deeper understanding of ADB processes and procedures. We hope the participants will have an interactive session and share practical experiences with each other. The program aims to also encourage discussion of new strategic ideas and the critical role of project design and implementation in overcoming development challenges.
Directors/deputy directors and other senior staff of executing and implementing agencies from ADB's members involved in ADB-financed projects.
