Michael Plummer will speak on the trend toward "mega-regional" free trade agreements in the Asia and Pacific region.


Michael Plummer is the Eni Professor of International Economics at the Johns Hopkins University, SAIS. He is also Editor in Chief of the Journal of Asian Economics; President, American Committee for Asian Economic Studies; and (non-resident) Senior Fellow, East-West Center. He was until very recently Head of the Development Division of the OECD (2010-2012). He has a PhD in economics from Michigan State University.
