This seminar will feature Cecilia Tam of the OECD who will provide an overview of OECD initiatives on sustainable finance taxonomies. Ms Tam will discuss key findings from the OECD’s recent “Climate Finance Mobilised and Provided by Developed Countries” report, with a focus on progress toward achieving its USD 100 billion target. Ms Tam will also discuss the OECD’s new Clean Energy Finance and Investment Mobilisation Programme and its work to promote private finance for energy efficiency and renewable energy in emerging economies.
About the Speaker
Cecilia Tam heads the new OECD Clean Energy Finance and Investment Mobilisation Programme. Prior to this role, she served as the International Energy Agency (IEA) Acting Head of the Energy Technology Policy Division, Head of the Energy Demand Technology Unit, and Special Advisor to the Executive Director. Ms Tam was also responsible for the development of the IEA’s Energy Technology Roadmaps Programme. Cecilia holds a BA honors degree in Economics and Art History from Queen’s University in Canada and a master’s degree in Industrial Economics from Université Paris-Dauphine.
