Summary

Boosting women’s workforce participation and economic empowerment is a focus of India’s Group of 20 (G20) presidency. Policy breakthroughs could enhance productivity, economic diversity, and income equality, as well as public health, education, and broader sustainable development.

Cohosted by ADBI and partners, this Think20 (T20) associated event will feature panel discussions on women’s livelihoods and economic empowerment challenges and opportunities, and explore possible global actions for addressing them during India’s G20 presidency and beyond.
