Summary
ADBI and the Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law at Stanford University’s Leadership Academy for Development co-hosted a six-session workshop over six weeks on effective public policy development training for government officials. The workshop addressed case writing priorities such as topic selection, scope, and student engagement, as well as ways to enhance case teaching. It featured small group exercises, participant presentations, and guided case writing.

- Examine best practices for government official-oriented case writing on public policy lessons and innovations
- Discuss keys to public policy case teaching

- Government officials in ADB developing member countries, ADB experts, and graduate students
Output
- Enhanced capacity to train government officials and experts using case writing and teaching
- New case writing examples featured during the workshop will be considered for publication as ADBI case studies
