Cohosted by ADBI and partners, this virtual public dialogue presented David Broadstock of the National University of Singapore’s Energy Studies Institute, who discussed energy market transition keys when facing a low renewable fuel mix and high energy import dependence. He highlighted the importance of boosting renewable energy penetration, drawing upon experiences in Singapore.

About the Speaker

David Broadstock is a senior research fellow and energy economics division head at the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Energy Studies Institute. He is also a research affiliate with the NUS Sustainable and Green Finance Institute. His research focuses include wholesale electricity price uncertainty; environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment; green bond pricing; commodity price trends; and carbon pricing and climate finance practices.
