What can we learn from leading Covid-19 vaccine programmes? An insider look at India, UK and UAE
Event |
19 March 2021
Online, 8:00 a.m., London time, via Zoom
Description
Vaccines offer us hope to end this pandemic. In record time, various vaccines have been approved and are being administered to people around the world. India, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates have claimed a spot in the top 10 countries with the highest number of Covid-19 vaccinations given to their populations. What can we learn from these countries? The approach taken by each country varies. From deciding which subsets of their populations would be the first to receive the vaccine, to deciding which healthcare professionals would be involved in the rollout, there have been widespread differences.
Join BMJ and the Asian Development Bank on Friday 19 March 2021 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am GMT for our next webinar and hear from experts on the ground from each country. We will explore strategies used, challenges and lessons learned, and facilitate a discussion to share knowledge and support countries with their rollout plans.
This free webinar is part of the BMJ/ADB Covid-19 Information Centre, providing updated clinical decision support from BMJ Best Practice and e-learning resources from BMJ Learning to frontline healthcare professionals. Free to access. Visit covid-19.bmj.com for more information.
