ADB Annual Meeting 2018 Opening Session of the Board of Governors

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved an ambitious new road map to guide its evolution and scale up its support on key challenges facing Asia and the Pacific, including accelerated efforts to combat climate change and expand private sector development.

ADB, JFPR and EAPKF worked with the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar and the Public Transport Department to address personal safety and harassment in the Ger Areas through a community-led approach addressing policy, infrastructure and public awareness.

Climate change poses a growing threat to people and their livelihoods in Asia and the Pacific. The report underscores the need for high quality, high resolution, timely, and credible data to support climate action and solutions.
