Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank has been working together for 15 years and Azerbaijan’s economy has reached a certain level much higher than 15 years ago when Azerbaijan joined the ADB. And we are happy and proud to be part of this development.
VO: In the city of Nakhchivan, ADB built a water storage tank with a capacity of 25,000 cubic meters and a 14-kilometer pipe carrying water from the newly built intake source to a distribution substation.
It also built water purification systems equipped with the latest nano filters, a 222-kilometer distribution system and 202-kilometer of sewer pipelines.
ADB constructed roads linking the border area between Gazakh city and Georgia to the rest of the country, enabling farmers to transport their goods and giving tourists access to the region’s natural sanctuaries, monuments and holy sites.
