The first Asian Development Bank (ADB) Gender Forum entitled, The Power to Transform: Gender Equality in Asia and the Pacific, will be held on 22-25 November 2021 with the goal of informing, influencing, and inspiring action on gender equality.

The Gender Forum will be a virtual space to share and promote best practices on gender mainstreaming and inspire innovation for gender equality.

It will facilitate dialogue and information sharing between national, regional, and global partners and stakeholders, to discuss and explore how concrete policies and projects can better support the achievement of gender equality and more resilient communities.

Transcript

Women improve lives and communities in Asia and the Pacific through their care, innovation and leadership.

But their participation in society is often hindered by discrimination, restrictions, and a lack of access to education and jobs.

These gender disparities must be eliminated for Asia and the Pacific to reach its full potential.

Together, we can change the narrative and offer a better future to women and girls.

On 22-25 November 2021, join us at the first-ever ADB Gender Forum
