Uttar Pradesh, India - “I got a second loan from [local lender] Satin to buy a second buffalo. I also bought a sewing machine so I could make money sewing clothes,” says Sarvesh Chauhan, a buffalo milk farmer and seamstress.

“With the income I was able to buy a cow and now sell the milk, so I was able to pay back all the money I owed.”
