With ADB support, the Government of Mongolia has improved its state registry database and strengthened online connectivity by connecting 260 soums and 30 sub-districts to the online registry system and improving legal environment, infrastructure, data quality and accessibility.

Soum-level access to the state registry database allows 2.5 million Mongolians to receive fast and efficient social welfare services.
