Horst Köhler, former President of Germany, spoke at the 49th ADB Annual Meeting about the challenges facing mankind in the twenty-first century and what should be done to address them. The meeting was held in Frankfurt, Germany, from 2 to 5 May 2016.
ADB is committed to achieving a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific, while sustaining its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty.
Established in 1966, it is owned by 68 members—49 from the region.
