ADB continues a focus on infrastructure development and institutional reforms in Pakistan through its country partnership strategy.

Since its first loan to India in 1986, ADB has contributed to the country's transformation through infrastructure development, financial reform, agriculture, and clean energy.

Tajikistan has grown its economy and reduced poverty over more than two decades of partnership with ADB. 

Bhutan's partnership with ADB has helped drive its careful, tradition-focused development strategy.

Mongolia began revamping its economy and society in the early 1990s and ADB was an early, trusted partner in this effort.

Georgia and ADB have worked together since 2007 to deliver infrastructure and services that benefit all.

Since 2010 ADB has funded 7.5 million microfinance loan accounts across Asia and the Pacific.

ADB has funded the construction or improvement of more than 92,000 km of road in Asia and the Pacific since 2010, that’s more than twice the distance around the earth.

Since 2010, ADB loans and grants have led to an additional 19,000 gigawatts of power generation across Asia and the Pacific, that’s about the same as 20 large power stations.

ADB has helped bring improved sanitation to more than 5 million homes in Asia and the Pacific since 2010.
