The Java Reconstruction Fund (JRF) was established in 2006 at the request of the Government of Indonesia (GOI). The successful reconstruction of Java following the disasters in May and July 2006 is widely recognized for its remarkable achievements. The Java Reconstruction Fund (JRF) has played a key role in this recovery, supporting the Government of Indonesia (GOI) in its efficient and effective management of the post-disaster reconstruction. When Mount Merapi erupted in October 2011, the JRF provided the Government's first and most significant response to the disaster. |
