| Consulting Services | A firm of international consultants, in association with domestic consultants, will be engaged. The services will require about 537 person-months of consulting services consisting of 288 person-months of international consultants and 249 person-months of domestic consultants. The consultants will be required to have expertise in (i) revising port sector legislation and establishing a port regulator; (ii) port operations re-engineering, information systems (including EDI), and ISO certification for an existing container facility; (iii) taxation, logistics and marketing relating to PC/ distribution hubs; (iv) market analysis, financial analysis and concession planning related to preparing a business plan and the management of a new container facility; (v) port planning, engineering, concession documentation, and environmental impact assessment required to prepare engineering designs and concession/contract documentation for a new container facility; and (vi) social and development impacts of the new container facility. |
