Gender Gender equity
Description To provide immediate assistance to poor and vulnerable small and landless farmers, including those in inaccessible and mountainous locations devastated by the Oct 2005 earthquake. The main components will include: revitalizing agric and livestock activities; community-based initiatives; assistance for rebuilding houses and livelihoods; and project management and logistical support including helicopter servicesin inaccessible areas. The government agencies in partnership with national and international NGOs will be responsible for implementing the project.
