Description The TA will enhance the capacity of the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China to adjudicate environmental lawsuits, and enhance the capacity of the court system to perform its environmental law enforcement role more effectively.

Consulting Services ADB will engage two international environmental legal experts for a total of 4 person-months; a national legal expert to serve as the team leader for 4 person-months; and a national coordinator for 2 person-months. An editor will also be engaged for 2 person-months (national or international) and approximately 6 international resource persons and 5 to 10 domestic resource persons. All will be engaged as individual consultants in accordance with ADB's Guidelines on the Use of Consultants (2013 as amended from time to time), and disbursements will be made in accordance with ADB's Technical Assistance Disbursement Handbook (2010 as amended from time to time).
