The Sewerage System Development Project (SSDP) aims to contribute to safe disposal of domestic wastewater in three partner cities by (i) expanding centralized sewer systems and rehabilitation of wastewater treatment facilities; (ii) facilitating regulated sludge collection, transport, treatment and disposal of onsite systems; and (iii) eliminating open defecation.
